Alexandra Paulsen is a political strategist and a lifelong Arkansan currently living in Fayetteville. Throughout her career, she has helped candidates across Arkansas and across the country raise the money and craft or organize the plans they need to run strong, competitive campaigns.

She has worked professionally in the campaign space since 2020, and the campaign fundraising space since 2021. She graduated with a BA in political science and sociology in 2022 from the University of Arkansas, and has served as Treasurer for the Democratic Party of Washington County from 2022-24. She is the current Finance Director for the Young Democrats of Arkansas.

At Daybreak Strategies, her focus is on ensuring campaigns remain laser-focused on investing their time and resources into the things that will help them win. She approaches fundraising as relational rather than extractive.

She believes that when done right, fundraising isn’t about squeezing money out of donors, but instead marshalling the resources to invest in our communities and local businesses and empowering people to make their home a better place.
